My Recent Work

I would like to convey the feeling and emotion towards the beauty of two entities, woman and calla lily, which, in my opinion, possess similar aesthetic quality. For that reason, I fuse them together in a harmony. However, beauty does not last: one day it will decay and eventually disintegrate. This is expressed in the inner form, which is putrefying, and, as time passes, showing the signs of demise. This creates an emotional paradox, between the beauty perceived without and the sadness within. What I see as beautiful is actually merely a facade of beauty.
